Regional Sales Manager with Switch Mode Power Supply experience (Northern UK)

 
OVERVIEW
We’re looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to be part of the company that focuses on demanding markets in the
areas of automotive, information and communication technology and industrial/energy and consumer electronics.
 
Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and
contributes to our company’s success in the long run.
 
Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
  • Full responsibility for the promotion of sales of products in existing and prospect accounts in the specified region or geographical areas.
  • Will be covering the areas from Birmingham to the Scottish border.
  • Achieve ‘Design Ins’ in line with annual targets.
  • Manage all customer contact information within ‘CRM’.
  • Maintain an active prospect list and generate a detailed monthly forecast.
  • Manage customer buffer stocks in line with usage and formal agreements.
  • Maintain daily contact with the Sales Office.
  • Provide market feedback on competitor products and pricing.
  • Provide market feedback on business trends and developing technologies in the Industrial and Medical electronics sectors.
  • Required to travel both in the UK and occasional overseas for sales meetings and conferences
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Qualified to ONC/HNC in electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5+ years of Sales experience
  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar sales role
  • Experience in the power supply (or related) market would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with the challenges of development for high-volume manufacturing
  • Result focused mindset, ability to drive the team to efficiently and successfully release new products
