Overview
We’re looking for a talented Quality Manager to be part of a multinational electronic components manufacturer leading the world in magnetic technology in Ilfracombe, UK
As a Quality Manager, you will lead a team of Quality Engineers and be responsible for maintaining and controlling the Quality Management System, including its certification to ISO 9001 & 13485, by process improvements, quality reviews, managing internal auditing, customer and suppliers assessments, along with ensuring compliance to specified Quality Management Regulations. The role also requires the department to work with stakeholders across the organisation to support business processes and systems to achieve timely and effective introduction of new products and propagate an organisational continual improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
- Manage quality deliverables to support the design and release of new products and processes
- Take a leading role in driving quality improvements from proactively measuring quality processes
- Ability to motivate and develop their team and work effectively with peers to achieve objectives
- Effectively interface with counterparts within the Quality Group
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a quality focused team
- Expert knowledge of the applicable Standards (including ISO 9001, 13485, 45001, 14001, 17025 ISTA Series and BS EN 61340)
- Expert knowledge and experience of lead auditing to ISO9001 standard
- Manage quality deliverables to support the design and release of new products and processes
- Take a leading role in driving quality improvements from proactively measuring quality processes
- Ability to motivate and develop their team and work effectively with peers to achieve objectives
- Effectively interface with counterparts within the Quality Group
