JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the product marketing department of a fast-growing RF Semiconductor company, the Product Marketing Manager will assist the product marketing team in growing the company’s RF Front-End portfolio and support products through the product lifecycle from definition, sampling, production release and end-of-life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE
- Lead products for Mobile and Wireless Connectivity RF front-end modules through their entire lifecycle including product specifications, development, engineering samples and mass production
- Internal product ownership and leadership of cross-functional development team by regularly engaging with internal teams and setting clear expectations to cross-functional team about key project milestones and deliverables
- Lead problem resolution and identify required resources, tasks, and investigation paths to quickly solve issues, keep project on-schedule and maintain on-time sample delivery for engineering prototypes and pre-production builds
- Act in role of front-line engineering application support for product integration at OEMs, ODMs and ecosystem partners
- Create and maintain business case, Market Requirements Document (MRD) and Product Requirements Document (PRD)
- Develop and set pricing strategy, including target cost for engineering and operations team
- Manage product portfolio including providing competitive and market analysis to develop data driven short- and long-term product strategy
- Build ecosystem partnerships with Carriers, OEMS and Platform Providers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field + 5 years of relevant experience
- Or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering + 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in technical marketing in the semiconductor industry
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and resolving technical challenge
- Strong technical background in RF: experience in Cellular / Connectivity RF Front End, or IC design, systems, or applications engineering
- Hands on use of lab equipment to evaluate RF performance
- Ability to negotiate RF specification (POUT, EVM, NF, IP2, IP3, S-parameters, etc.) for key building blocks including switch, LNA, PA, and filters
