Overview

Our client for this role is a supplier of high-performance electronic components used in high-voltage power-conversion systems. Their integrated circuits and diodes enable compact, energy-efficient AC-DC power supplies for a vast range of electronic products including mobile devices, TVs, PCs, appliances, smart utility meters and LED lights. Our IGBT drivers enhance the efficiency, reliability and cost of high-power applications such as industrial motor drives, solar and wind energy systems, electric vehicles, and high-voltage DC transmission.

We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive candidate who will be part of the Central Europe Sales organization reporting to Regional Sales Manager. This individual will assist the Sales Team technically to increase our market penetration and number of customers through laboratory, telephone and on-site support; spending 20% of the time traveling visiting customers.

Key Responsibilities And Activities Include

• Provide application and design support to customers
• Provide the highest quality laboratory, telephone and on-site support to maintain our leading edge in the marketplace
• Debug customers’ designs, recommending changes for improvements
• Produce customized designs and hardware to meet customers’ requirements
• Conduct periodical technical training to customers/distributors/workshops
• Support Sales Team technically in the region to increase number of Design Wins and revenue
• Traveling approximately 20% of the time (average)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to successful and long-lasting client relationships
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented and analytical with a passion for customer satisfaction
• Experience in High Voltage transformer and AC/DC switch mode power supplies

Education And Experience Requirements

• BSEE or higher (MSc preferred) in Electronics Engineering
• Minimum two years’ experience in designing High Voltage Switch Mode Power Supply
• Good background of power electronics combined with practical knowledge of switch mode power supplies
• Experience in High Voltage Motor Drives designs and microcontroller software programming is a plus
• Interpersonal skills and keen commercial awareness
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
