OVERVIEW
We’re looking for an open-minded, talented Camera Embedded Software Engineer to be part of a fast-growing company focusing on connected products within consumer electronics and IoT devices in San Diego, California.
As a Camera Embedded Software Engineer you will have access to innovative technology that will improve and expand your skill set across various projects and products. You will work with our clients on the latest technologies, using world-class labs and equipment with the aim of pushing the boundaries and create a state-of-the-art product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE
- Develop drivers and middleware for camera and wearable computing on cutting edge new hardware components.
- Utilize your expertise and intuition to bring cutting edge R&D solutions quickly into production.
- You will optimize for constrained environments of low power mobile devices by writing excellent C/C++ solutions.
- Minimum Bachelor’s in computer science or equal
- Strong, demonstrable coding skills in C and C++
- 3+ years of experience with Linux environment, working with embedded or mobile platform or customizing Android OS for embedded devices
- Experience developing Android Camera HAL implementations
- Experience with device drivers and microprocessor architecture
- Ability to understand, debug and improve operational aspects of the system
- Previous experience working with mobile SoC or embedded Linux or Android
- Experience in Camera HAL3
