Overview We’re looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to be part of the major supplier of power conversion technology to the medical, technology, industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
- Responsible in covering the North West Germany
- Dealing with all accounts on both a technical and commercial basis
- Gaining entry to new markets and organisations
- Preparing detailed technical proposals
- Will work 2-3 days per week in the field, visiting customers, progressing sales enquiries, servicing existing customers etc.
- The remaining time is spent dealing with all actions arising from such visits, planning future visits, managing projects, digital marketing(via Linkedin for example) in order to get new business etc liaising with technical support staff
- Develop a stable Industrial, Medical business against set targets
- In total control of his/her designated area, managing existing accounts, identifying new potential customers/projects, producing all written proposals, preparing sales presentations, and for the generation of quarterly rolling orders forecasts. He/She will report directly to the European Director
- Expected to be able to communicate within an organisation at all levels, both vertically (senior management through to junior level staff), and horizontally (engineering, purchasing, QA, production, sales)
- Will interface with senior engineers from diverse industries and must be able to quickly understand their requirements and gain their respect and commitment
- Preferably degree/HND qualified, but as a minimum a higher education qualification in electronics
- At least 3 years of experience in the electronics industry with particular emphasis on Industrial and medical end customers
- Demonstrated successful track record
- Presentable, articulate, numerate, and literate (handwriting and computer)
- Self-motivated
- Clean driving license
- Experience in both a design in and sales capacity
- Working knowledge of analogue electronics theory
- Previous experience in design, specification, use, or sales of switched mode PSUs OEM background
